Privacy Policy
Effective October 10, 2026
In short. Your playlists, logins, channel lists, favorites and viewing history stay on your TV. They are never sent to us.
To run the free trial and licenses, our server keeps an ID for each TV, its activation code, the device type and app version, and the status of any license. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
We don't sell your data, show ads or use tracking cookies.

1. Who we are
MyManager Technologies Group Inc., a Florida corporation, is responsible for the personal data described here (the "controller") for the MyManager Player app (the "App") and the website mymanagerplayer.com. Our privacy contact, who also acts as our privacy officer and data protection contact, can be reached at support@mymanagerplayer.com.
2. What we don't collect
MyManager Player is a media player and does not provide any content: no playlists, channels, streams or links. The content you play comes from a provider you choose, directly to your device.
The following stays only on your device and is never sent to our servers:
- your playlist links (M3U) and your Xtream Codes server, username and password;
- your channel, movie and series lists, and anything you watch;
- your favorites, recently watched items, resume positions and settings.
The App connects directly from your device to your content provider. Your provider has its own privacy practices, which we do not control. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data removes this information from your device.
3. What we collect and why
Device and license information
When the App starts, it contacts our licensing server, which stores:
- an identifier for your TV: a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of the ID your TV's system gives apps, or a random one where the system offers none. It lets a license survive reinstalling the App; it is not your name or email and cannot be turned back into the original ID;
- the activation code shown in Settings → Subscription;
- the device type (for example Android TV or Samsung) and App version;
- when the device was first and last seen, and when its free trial ends;
- for paid licenses: the plan, status, renewal or end date, amount and currency, and the reference numbers Stripe gives to the customer, subscription and payment.
We use this to run the free trial, activate and verify licenses, process renewals, cancellations and refunds, prevent abuse, and keep the Service secure. Legal basis (where applicable, such as under the GDPR): performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and abuse.
Payment information
When you buy a license, you pay on a checkout page operated by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details, name, email address and billing country or postal code. We do not receive or store your full card number. In our Stripe account we can see your name, email, billing country or postal code, the last four digits and brand of the card, and the payment history, which we use to send receipts and renewal reminders, handle refunds and support, and meet tax and accounting duties. Legal basis: contract, and legal obligation for tax records.
Support emails
If you write to us, we keep your message, email address and anything you choose to include, to answer you. Legal basis: contract or legitimate interest.
Titles and artwork (TMDB)
To show posters, synopses and cast photos, the App sends the title or person's name it needs to The Movie Database (TMDB) directly from your device. TMDB receives that request and your device's IP address, under its own privacy policy. We do not receive these requests.
Server and website logs
Our servers record technical request data (IP address, time, requested address, browser or device type) when the App checks for updates or for its license, and when you visit our website. We use it for security and troubleshooting.
No ads, no tracking
We do not use advertising, analytics, social-media pixels or tracking cookies in the App or on our website, and we do not build advertising profiles. The website loads no third-party scripts or fonts.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data and do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose it only to:
- Service providers that run the Service for us under contract: Stripe (payments), Supabase (licensing database and server functions), our server hosting provider, and our email provider.
- App stores (Google Play, Apple App Store, Amazon Appstore), if you get the App or buy through them, under their policies.
- Authorities or others when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to enforce our Terms.
- A successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
5. Where data is processed
Our licensing database and payment processing are located in the United States. If you live elsewhere, including in Canada, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Brazil, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where it may be accessed by authorities under US law. We protect these transfers with contracts that include data-protection commitments, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses where they apply, or other mechanisms permitted by law.
6. How long we keep it
- Device and license records: while the device uses the App or holds a license. Records of devices that never bought a license are deleted after 24 months without activity.
- Payment and tax records: as long as tax and accounting laws require, generally up to 7 years. Stripe keeps its own records under its policy.
- Support emails: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
- Server logs: up to 30 days, unless needed longer to investigate a security incident.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know what personal data we hold about you and get a copy, in a portable format;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your data (we may keep what the law requires, such as payment records);
- object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it;
- appeal our decision on your request, and complain to your data protection authority.
To use these rights, email support@mymanagerplayer.com with the activation code from Settings → Subscription and/or the email on your receipt, so we can find your data and confirm the request is yours. You can also use an authorized agent where the law allows. We answer within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights.
Because we do not sell or share personal data for advertising, there is nothing to opt out of; we nonetheless honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a request not to sell or share.
8. Regional information
United States
Residents of California and other states with consumer privacy laws have the rights listed in section 7. In the last 12 months we collected the categories described in section 3 (identifiers such as the hashed device ID and activation code; commercial information such as license and payment history; internet activity such as server logs), from you and your device, for the purposes described there, and disclosed them only to the service providers in section 4. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by those laws.
European Economic Area and United Kingdom
The legal bases for each use are listed in section 3. You may complain to the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
Canada
We follow PIPEDA and, for residents of Quebec, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector. Our privacy officer is reachable at the address in section 1. You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.
Brazil
Under the LGPD, you have the rights in section 7, including confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization or deletion, portability and information about sharing. Our data protection contact (encarregado) is reachable at the address in section 1, and you may also contact the ANPD.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and a licensing database that is not reachable by the public, and we keep the data we hold to a minimum. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
10. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with its effective date and, for material changes, notify you in the App or by email at least 30 days before they apply.
